Stadium Host

Here in Spokane we have a stadium host. His name is Jamie Patrick and his day job is a radio dj.

Basically, his job here is to get the crowd into the game by any means necessary. His job description may actually say "by any means necessary" because he does some goofy stuff. On the 4th of July he painted his hair red, white, and blue and on Go Green Night, he painted it green. Everyone likes to make fun of him, but to his credit, the crowd loves him. He announces the team before the game as they head to their positions, but before he does that he has a little bounce going and says "Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood evening ladies and gentlemen!!!!!". He gets the crowd to start chanting "Go Indians" all the time. Him and Otto do their little thing whenever we score. He does a great job. After seeing what he does with the crowd here, I'm surprised more teams don't try to get someone like him. Well, here is one of the reasons he gets made fun of.

As you can see, the crowd loves him, but at what price.......

Lost game 2 in extra innings, 2-1 in 10 inn.
